Overview
DTZ’s residential team was appointed by Mer Vue Developments Pte Ltd a subsidiary of Wheelock Properties (Singapore) Limited (formerly known as Marco Polo Developments Ltd). The developer has undertaken many prestigious and luxurious residential developments such as Ardmore Park and Grange Residences, including prime commercial/retail projects of Wheelock Place and Scotts Shopping Centre.
What DTZ did
- DTZ participated in the design concept, layout facilities and finishes with the Architects.
- DTZ together with developer formulated an advertising/presentation campaign after reviewing market conditions and competitive study.
- DTZ prepared marketing materials for the local and overseas marketing.
- DTZ was appointed and given power of attorney to take control of the sales at the marketing office.
- DTZ prepared, signed and issued options to purchase in respect of units in the development and accompanying letters / documents relating to defects, payment schemes, collected and banked cheques on behalf of developer.
- DTZ continued to be responsive to client and provided after sales service to buyers.
Results
The development of 546 units achieved 100% sales within 1½ years of launch amid uncertain market conditions during June 2005 to Jan 2007 period when the Singapore property market was undergoing a slow phase of activity.
